Day 1 - FLIGHT TO ANCHORAGE, ALASKA

Day 2 - MCKINLEY EXPLORER - DENALI NATIONAL PARK - Today, we continue our incredible sightseeing adventure via the full domed railcars on the McKinley Explorer deluxe sightseeing train, and travel to Denali National Park, where we spend the next two nights.

Day 3 - DENALI NATIONAL PARK - WILDERNESS TOUR - Embark on the Tundra Wilderness Tour for the most comprehensive wildlife viewing and Mt. McKinley viewpoints. The rest of the day is free to explore the Denali area. Overnight same hotel.

Day 4 - MCKINLEY EXPLORER - FAIRBANKS - We board the McKinley Explorer, bound for Fairbanks, rolling over the Golden Spike that marked the completion of the railroad. In Fairbanks, explore till the sun sets, which in these northern parts, may not be until midnight. We overnight in Fairbanks, Alaska.

Day 5 - EXPLORER COACH TO TOK - Today’s tour takes in the TransAlaska Pipeline and Gold Dredge #8 for an in-depth view of local history (lunch included). Next, we continue on to Tok, Alaska, where we overnight.

Day 6 - YUKON RIVER CRUISE - DAWSON CITY - Travel the Taylor Highway to historic Eagle for a guided tour and a visit to Yukon-Charley Rivers National Preserve Visitor Center. Then we embark our mv Yukon Queen II catamaran for a cruise up the Yukon River to Dawson City (dinner included). We spend the next two nights in Dawson City, Yukon Territory.

Day 7 - LEISURE DAY IN DAWSON CITY

Day 8 - WHITEHORSE - FRANTIC FOLLIES - Today, we board our coach and roll along in comfort to Whitehorse, in the Yukon Territory (lunch included). Tonight, kick up your heels at the uproarious Frantic Follies Vaudeville Revue (included). We overnight in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory.

Day 9 - WHITE PASS & YUKON RAILROAD - At the summit of White Pass, we board a vintage parlor car of the White Pass & Yukon Route railroad and chug from Carcross to historic Lake Bennett. We enjoy lunch (included) and a walking tour. Next, we reboard the train and travel to Skagway, Alaska, where we overnight.

Day 10 - SKAGWAY - BOARD CRUISE SHIP - Say “good-bye” to your tour director in Skagway. This afternoon, we board our deluxe Holland America Cruise Ship and begin our journey down the incredible Inside Passage.

Day 11 - CRUISING GLACIER BAY! - A momentous day of cruising from one mammoth glacier to the next! National Park Service rangers will come aboard to point out and explain the sights. Your deck steward will see to your comfort — a wooly blanket or a steaming cup of soup brought right to the rail. Your cruise takes you into beautiful Glacier Bay where travelers can go back in time to the Ice Age, to see the faces of glaciers whose retreat over just two centuries has sculpted a 65-mile long fjord.

Day 12 - KETCHIKAN PORT OF CALL! - This quaint town with its wooden walks is just steps away from our docked cruise ship. There are Tlingit totem poles to see, fjords to sightsee, fat salmon to catch and shopping in the many stores that line the streets. The Cruise Director will offer optional day excursions in Ketchikan.

Day 13 - CRUISING INSIDE PASSAGE -We continue our Inside Passage Cruise today. Our onboard naturalist will help you spot eagles, whales and other wildlife, easily viewed from lounges and panoramic windows and from a promenade deck that wraps around the ship.
