HALL’S ON THE RIVER

This is the ideal day excursion, with lots of art, history and great food! Today we stop in Richmond for a tour of “White Hall,” the beautiful Italianate mansion of Cassius Marcellus Clay. Next, we depart for Hall’s on the River, known as “Kentucky’s Original Restaurant” where we enjoy a delicious lunch before departing for Ft. Boonesborough State Park. Reconstructed as a working fort, complete with blockhouse, cabins, and period furnishings, we’ll observe costumed artisans perform pioneer crafts and demonstrations. Meals: Lunch
