The Radisson Hotel that we have been using on Marco Island has been bought by the Marriott Chain and will be torn down and rebuilt as Time-share Condos. We have searched for and found the elegant 4-diamond rated Marco Island Beach Resort, which is just two buildings away from the Radisson Hotel we were using. Located on the beach, this beautiful resort has one-bedroom suites with a full kitchen, sitting room and separate bedroom. This is a very up-scale property and one you will love, so come to sun-filled days, miles of white sandy beaches and warm aquamarine waters and enjoy this tropical paradise of Marco Island. It is located just south of Ft. Myers, and this charming island will be our winter home for the next 11 nights. There are several restaurants in the resort, and there are a variety of restaurants located within walking distance around the hotel. There is also a small shopping center conveniently located nearby. Our coach will take everyone to the Supermarket to get some food items for your kitchen. We have included the following Day Excursions to attractions in the area: An Airboat Ride through the Everglades, a tour of Naples, a visit to the Ft. Myers Flea Market and Church on Sundays. We will offer several optional trips (minimum required) such as Sunset Dinner Cruise and a day trip to Key West. Our resort will also offer an array of activities including parasailing, bicycles, tennis, basketball, heated pool and hot tub and fitness center. You may also wish to go deep-sea fishing or take a shelling trip to the outer islands. Our first and last nights will be in Forsyth, Georgia.
