Then come with us on this delightful, relaxing stay.We enjoy a three-night stay inMyrtle Beach, our days will be filled with exciting activities and our nights will allow us to relax and enjoy great dinners and shows.
Day 1 - DUNCAN, SOUTH CAROLINA - Heading to the excitement of what promises to be a most enjoyable tour, we head south through Tennessee, and North Carolina to Duncan, South Carolina for our first overnight.
Day 2 - MYRTLE BEACH - DIXIE STAMPEDE - We head to the Grand Strand, arriving early afternoon in Myrtle Beach. We make a luncheon stop at Barefoot Landing, a complex of specialty shops and restaurants built around a lagoon, before checking into our hotel, for the next three nights.Our hotel, located on the beach will allow time for strolling, swimming or just enjoying the sound of the ocean surf. Tonight, we have included a dinner and show at the Dixie Stampede
Day 3 - SAFARI - ALABAMA THEATER - This morning a local guide steps aboard our deluxe motorcoach to take us on a wondrous journey to the low country. There we will see historic plantations, a barrier island, and Spanishmoss hanging fromtwo hundred year old trees. We will also see the lovely historic homes of Pawley’s Island the oldest resort area in the U.S., a maritime forest, mystery shroudedmarshes, historic gravesites along with nesting Bald Eagles. After our adventure we have included a sumptuous lunch for your enjoyment. This evening we enjoy an included dinner and show at the Alabama Theater.
Day 4 - LEISURE MORNING - CAROLINA OPRY - We enjoy a leisure morning before driving to Murrell’s Inlet for a visit to beautiful Brookgreen Gardens. This one-of-a-kind garden was designed to showcase the beautiful sculptures throughout the grounds. This afternoon is free for you to take a stroll on the beach or sit by the pool. Tonight, we have included a Calabash Seafood dinner, before attending a production at “Carolina Opry.”
Day 5 - BROADWAYONTHE BEACH- Thismorning we head out to Broadway on the Beach for some exciting shopping and lunch before departing Myrtle Beach and making our way to Duncan, South Carolina.
Day 6 -HOMETOKENTUCKY-We return through theBlueRidge Mountains andthe foothillsof theGreatSmokies, andoh,what a talewe can tell of our time in the South!Meals: 2B, 1L, 3D |
