A TASTE OF KENTUCKY

August 9 Tour #280827 Cost: $69

Today, we head east to Frankfort and Lexington, where we will experience a myriad of tastes on this delightful new tour. Our first stop will give us a taste of how the John Brown family lived at Liberty Hall, a three story federal style home and gardens on the Kentucky River. Next, we have included lunch at the Candleberry Tea Room. After lunch, we tour the Mary Todd Lincoln House, where we will see period pieces that belong to Mary Todd Lincoln’s family. Next, we’re off to Old Kentucky Chocolates, home of the Kentucky Bourbon Chocolates, Kentucky Derby Mints and the Colonel’s favorite: old fashioned pulled creams. We return home with our taste buds exposed to many new flavors of Kentucky. Meals: Lunch
