Our visit to the Biltmore will be divided into two segments to more thoroughly enjoy this magnificent estate. The Biltmore Winery tour starts in the welcome center and concludes in their well- stocked gift shop. At the conclusion of our touring day, we check into our hotel in Asheville, North Carolina.
Day 2 – Biltmore House and Deerpark Restaurant – After an included breakfast, we drive the three-mile approach road of the 12,000 acre Biltmore Estate. The heart of the estate is the 250-room Biltmore House, a European chateau built in French Renaissance style by tycoon George Washington Vanderbilt. We will feel like royalty as we stroll through its opulent rooms. The house was also an opportunity for Mr. Vanderbilt to showcase his huge collection of art and antiques. First opened to the public on Christmas Eve 1895, the house itself
is a priceless work of art. Next, we drive to the lovely Deerpark restaurant, where we have included a delicious lunch buffet. The Deerpark Restaurant is located on the grounds of the Biltmore Estate and was originally a dairy barn. It has been renovated into a lovely dining facility. We return home after lunch. Meals: 1B, 1L
